Our expert guidance extends to safe ways to move and exercise, ensuring optimal prenatal fitness while minimizing risks. Learn the significance of various birthing positions for a smoother delivery and discover the importance of nutrition in nurturing both mother and baby. Participants will also be equipped with tools included in the class to alleviate discomfort and manage pain. Our goal is to help parents embark on their prenatal journey with knowledge, strength, and peace of mind.

At Core Pelvic PT, we are offering a monthly Pediatric Support Class that will be facilitated by a knowledgeable physical therapist, and where parents are empowered with essential insights and practical strategies to navigate common childhood concerns such as bedwetting, potty training, and constipation. Through a blend of education, empathy, and real-world advice, the monthly classes will provide a supportive space for parents to address these delicate topics with confidence and understanding. Attendees will learn about the underlying factors contributing to these issues, ranging from developmental milestones to behavioral patterns, and gained valuable tools to support their children effectively. The physical therapist will emphasize and share the importance of patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement in guiding children through these milestones, fostering a sense of partnership between parent and child. In our class on prostate cancer and recovery, led by a seasoned physical therapist, participants gain invaluable insights into the journey of prostate cancer survivors. Through a compassionate and informative approach, attendees learn about the physical and emotional challenges faced by individuals undergoing treatment and recovery. The class delves into the unique impact of prostate cancer on pelvic floor function and overall mobility, offering practical strategies and exercises to promote rehabilitation and enhance quality of life. Participants engage in discussions about managing symptoms such as urinary incontinence and sexual dysfunction, while also exploring the importance of exercise, nutrition, and mental well-being in the recovery process.
